Liposuction
Liposuction is one of the most commonly performed cosmetic surgical procedure. It is a gold standard procedure to produce permanent spot reduction along with contour improvements in areas affected by excess fat deposits.
Your fat cells cannot migrate or multiply, once they are removed they cannot come back. Distribution of fat cells throughout your body are determined by genetics early in life. What this means is, any contour improvement achieved via liposuction is a permanent changed. Improvements will persist, even if the patient gains weight.
Patients must come to terms with liposuction not being an appropriate method for weight loss. Although, it can and often does motivate patients to improve their diet and exercise routines post operatively.

Most of the time, patients choose to have more than a single area treated in one procedure. All our procedures performed using tumescent technique. This is the gold standard technique according to the experts, it involves the injection of a dilute solution of lidocaine as a local anesthetic and epinephrine to control bleeding prior to the actual suctioning of the fatty tissue. The process brilliantly reduces blood loss, permits increased fat removal and improves sculpting, and results in a speedy recovery.
Suctioning is performed using a metallic rod known as a cannula, inserted via tiny puncture in the skin. Procedure generally performed while the patient is comfortably sedated by our anaesthesiologist (some patients may opt for pure local anaesthesia, if their treatment area is small).
Patients typically have no memory of the event, and leave the clinic within 30-60 minutes after the procedure, feeling great! Most patients can return to work within 3 days following their liposuction procedure, and return to the gym within a week.
